In this video, I will design and make aprons for the workbench, and after that — the final assembly of the table. This will be a series of videos about assembling a full-fledged carpentry workbench. This part completes the assembly of the entire workbench. It was quite a big project and gave me some new skills. I’m a big success! The total amount of materials for Aprons is 6 pine boards measuring 44 by 94 mm. Or 2″ by 4″. Grooves or recesses in which the legs «rest»; have extra space in width and angle. A wedge can be inserted here to secure the legs. This principle works perfectly! It was introduced to me by Paul Sellers, check his link below. Check out the first part of the table top making series and the second part of the legs series. The design is based on Paul Sellers’ workbench, he explains that it is a traditional design workbench.
