For this and other Covid-19 related content, please visit: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required will depend on whether you have direct patient contact and whether you are performing an aerosol generating procedure. More information on this is provided in the BMJ training module, but guidelines for the management of patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 are changing rapidly and we encourage you to check back regularly for updates. An FFP3 or N95 mask is required for aerosol-generating procedures, in combination with a long, long-sleeved gown (not an apron), hat, visor, and long-cuffed gloves. The correct order to put on (put on) PPE is as follows: Apron Face mask Eye protection Gloves The order to take off (take off) PPE is as follows: Gloves, then hand hygiene Apron or gown Eye protection, then hand hygiene, Surgical face mask, or FFP3 respirator followed by hand hygiene
